Air Devils (1938)
Plot: The film is a South Pacific action-adventure set on the remote island of Taro Pago in the years before World War II. It follows two friendly rival pilots and former U.S. Marines, John P. "Horseshoe" Donovan and Percy "Slats" Harrington, who have been hired as air "constables" to help keep order on the island. While both men enjoy the island life and compete for the attention of a woman named Marcia Bradford, they discover that a local tavern owner, Tom Mordant, is instigating the native population, stirring up a potential civil war. The two rival pilots must put their differences and romantic rivalry aside to combine forces, stop the violence, and restore peace to the tropical paradise.
