"Amityville No Escape" 2016 is a found-footage horror film that interweaves two timelines. In 1997, a woman named Lina records video diaries after moving into 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, unaware of its infamous history. She documents increasingly disturbing paranormal phenomena as she tries to make the dilapidated house a home for her absent military husband. Her story culminates in a terrifying attack by an unseen presence.
In 2016, a group of college students, led by George, embarks on a camping trip in the woods near the Amityville house for a thesis project on fear. They soon encounter strange occurrences, including sightings of a mysterious little girl and a woodsman warning them of danger. As the malevolent forces connected to the Amityville haunting begin to pick them off one by one, the students realize they are trapped in a deadly game, and the two timelines are horrifyingly connected.
