"Arachnicide" 2014 tells a story of Dr. Stevens, a scientist whose experimental efforts to create a new breed of super-sized spiders for pest control go horribly wrong. What was intended as a solution to agricultural problems instead unleashes a terrifying, rapidly multiplying swarm of genetically engineered arachnids upon an unsuspecting urban area. As the colossal spiders, driven by an insatiable hunger, begin to devour everything in their path, a small group of survivors, including a resourceful local cop and a few courageous civilians, must band together. They face a desperate fight for survival, trying to find a way to stop the monstrous infestation before the entire city is consumed.
