Best of Trades (2025)
Plot: Miles is a straight-laced, by-the-book private investigator who finds himself in over his head when he is hired by Walter Doyle, the powerful son of a wealthy Houston oil family. Doyle needs an heirloom recovered—specifically a watch—before a family burial, or he risks losing a massive inheritance. To get the job done, Miles is forced into an unlikely partnership with Jakoby, a reckless ex-con who uses unconventional, "street-seasoned" methods. As the duo navigates the criminal underbelly of Houston, the mismatched partners must learn to work together to survive a conspiracy that even their wealthy client didn't see coming.
