Plot: Janus Balaskas is a media studies professor whose career and influence have long since peaked. On Christmas Eve, while traveling through upstate New York, he stops at a rest area and recognizes two young social media influencers, May Marigold and Isabella Laningham. Seeing an opportunity to regain some relevancy, he offers them a ride. However, the journey quickly turns dark when it is revealed that the influencers are on the verge of losing their fame and have a desperate plan to become "insta-famous" again: by kidnapping Janus. As the drive continues, the power dynamics shift, and the three are forced into a violent struggle for survival and notoriety on the desolate, wintry roads
