Christmas Comes But Once a Year 1936
Plot: This animated short film from Fleischer Studios follows a group of poor orphans on Christmas morning. They are excited to open their gifts, but are heartbroken to discover that all their toys are old and broken. Professor Grampy, a resourceful inventor, uses his wits and an assortment of discarded items to transform the junk into wonderful new toys for the children, bringing Christmas cheer back to the orphanage.
