Plot: Former college football player Dave Tyler is released on parole after serving three years in prison for a bank robbery he did not commit—a crime he was framed for by professional gamblers seeking to keep him out of a crucial game. Determined to clear his name, Dave begins searching for the six witnesses who falsely testified against him, only to find they have vanished or been killed. Unknowingly, he accepts a job as a chauffeur for the wealthy investment broker, Gregory Warren, who is, in fact, the mastermind behind the gambling ring that framed him. The situation becomes intensely complicated when Dave falls in love with Warren's innocent sister, Julie, forcing him to keep silent about Warren's guilt even after he uncovers the truth, a sacrifice that ultimately sends him back to prison for a parole violation until a final confession sets him free.
