DEL PLAYA (2017)
Plot: The film follows Claire Rhodes, a young woman struggling to overcome a horrific past. In high school, a classmate named Matthew, who was routinely abused by his stepfather, develops an intense crush on Claire that turns into a violent obsession. When a fight with Claire's boyfriend leads to a brutal murder, Matthew disappears. Years later, while Claire is in college, the stalker-turned-murderer reemerges from the shadows on the anniversary of the first murder, forcing Claire to confront him and her own psychological demons to win back her life.
