Plot: This film follows Marni, a single mother, bartender, and pool hustler in the grimy town of "Extraction, USA," which, despite an energy boom, offers little to the working class. Struggling with bills and a demanding boss, Marni's life takes a turn when a mysterious drifter named Steph challenges her to a game of pool and forms a romantic connection. Together, they hatch schemes to hustle high-stakes pool from the town's elite. When they uncover a dangerous drug ring, they plot a high-stakes heist to escape their financial troubles and the oppressive environment of Extraction.
