"From Beneath" 2012 tells a story of a group of friends who embark on a summer getaway to a secluded cabin by a remote lake. Their peaceful vacation quickly devolves into a terrifying nightmare when they discover a parasitic infection spreading through the water, turning the victims into grotesque, aggressive creatures. As the contagion rapidly takes hold and isolates them, the friends realize that the lake itself harbors a horrifying, ancient evil that has awakened.
