Homesteaders of Paradise Valley (1947)
Plot: Western hero Red Ryder, and his sidekick Little Beaver, persuade a group of homesteaders to settle in the beautiful Paradise Valley. However, unscrupulous businessmen from the nearby Central City want to control the valley's essential water supply. They propose building a dam, ostensibly to help the settlers, but secretly rig the dam company's stockholder election to steal the water rights and gain control of the valley. Red Ryder must prove his innocence to the now-angry homesteaders and fight the crooked businessmen to secure the settlers' right to the land and the water.
