Little Ukraine (2022)
Plot: Spanning from the early 1980s to the present day, this crime drama follows the Rezniks, a Ukrainian-Jewish immigrant family who fled the USSR to seek the American Dream in New York City. Settling in the "Little Ukraine" neighborhood of Manhattan, the patriarch, Vlad, establishes a local bathhouse that serves as a front for the illicit activities of a Ukrainian-Russian mafia. As the years pass, the story focuses on the generational conflict between Vlad’s old-school criminal methods and his son Daniel’s attempts to navigate a modern world of FBI investigations, shifting loyalties, and the heavy burden of the family legacy.
