Meathook (2024)
Plot: Jordyn is a "final girl" who survived a horrific massacre committed by an infamous hook-wielding killer two years ago. Now living as a recluse and struggling with severe psychological trauma, her quiet life is shattered when a new string of identical murders begins. Forced to confront her past, she teams up with Grayson, a true-crime podcaster with his own tragic history, and a cynical, over-the-hill detective to stop the killer before he can "finish" his work. The film is noted for being a post-modern deconstruction of the slasher genre, focusing heavily on what happens to a survivor after the credits normally roll.
