Misbehaving Husbands (1940)
Plot: Absent-minded department store owner Henry Butler forgets his 20th wedding anniversary and ends up working late, missing the surprise party his wife, Effie, threw for him. His troubles begin when he is spotted on the street with a store mannequin he was taking for repairs. A friend of his wife mistakes the "beautiful blonde" mannequin for a mistress, and the ensuing gossip leads Effie to fear the worst and threaten divorce. Henry must find a way to convince his wife and her aggressive divorce lawyer that the entire affair was a hilarious misunderstanding involving a dummy.
