Outpost in Morocco
Year: 1949
Plot: Spahi Captain Paul Gerard, an officer in the French Foreign Legion, is assigned to escort Cara, the beautiful daughter of the influential Emir of Bel-Rashad, back to her father's mountain citadel. During their ten-day journey, Gerard and Cara fall in love. However, Gerard soon discovers that the Emir is secretly planning a large-scale revolt against the French, arming his tribesmen with modern rifles. After a neighboring French fort is destroyed and its garrison massacred, Gerard is tasked with defending the remaining outpost. The tragic conflict forces Gerard to face his military duty against the woman he loves and her father, leading to a dramatic and somber final battle.
