Queen of the Amazons (1947)
Plot: Jean Preston is determined to find her fiancé, Greg Jones, who disappeared while on a safari. She hires a reluctant guide, Gary Lambert, and travels with a small party into the African jungle. The rescue mission quickly encounters turmoil and danger, as a saboteur in their ranks works against them, and rumors circulate among the native guides about a savage, mysterious tribe of white "she-devils." When Jean's fiancé is finally found, he is revealed to have fallen in love with the tribe's leader, Zita, the Amazon Queen.
