Plot: This is an early Cold War thriller. Steve Roark, a former agent for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), is given a dangerous mission to travel behind the Iron Curtain to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. His assignment is to rescue two atomic scientists from the control of ruthless Russian Communist agents. The mission becomes complicated when Roark discovers that one of the scientists is Linda Carlsen, his former lover. Adding to the intrigue is a sexy cabaret singer named Magda Onescu who acts as a double agent, hoping to profit by playing both sides.
