Speed to Spare (1948)
Plot: Cliff Jordan is a thrill-seeking stunt driver who decides to trade in the dangerous world of auto-racing for a more stable life. He gets a job at a trucking company owned by his old friend, Jerry McGee. However, the world of long-haul trucking proves to be just as perilous when Cliff finds himself caught in the middle of a cutthroat rivalry between independent drivers and a corrupt trucking syndicate. Things get even more complicated when Cliff falls for Jerry’s wife, leading to a tense emotional showdown that culminates in a high-speed, life-or-death chase through the winding mountain roads.
