Plot: A young couple, Lotte and Casey, go on a weekend hiking trip in the woods of Indiana that quickly takes a bizarre turn. After Lotte suffers a leg injury, they are rescued by two strange men who take them to a secluded, stately mansion. They soon discover they are in the company of a mysterious cult led by a man named Wilder. The group's survival revolves around a unique, crimson-colored maple syrup harvested from the surrounding woods that possesses miraculous healing properties. As the "red" in the syrup begins to fade, the cult grows desperate, and the couple must uncover the truth behind the cult’s rituals and the bodies buried in the woods before they become part of the history themselves.
