Sunset Carson Rides Again (1948)
Plot: Cowboy hero Sunset Carson is working to raise money to build a new community school, primarily through a benefit prize-fight. His crooked partner, Sam Webster, and his cronies scheme to steal the proceeds from the fight. The situation is complicated when Sunset rescues a young Easterner named Bob Ward (known as "The Kid"), who is secretly the son of a prospector Sunset had been with and who carries a letter that seems to implicate Sunset in his father's death. Sunset must clear his name, foil Webster's plot, and recover the stolen funds.
