The Garage (1920)
Plot: This two-reel silent comedy short stars Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle and Buster Keaton as two hapless men who operate a combination automobile garage and fire station. In the first half, they manage to destroy a car that was left for them to clean. In the second half, a man, jealous of the garage owner's daughter, Molly, sets off a false fire alarm to get them out of the building. However, he accidentally starts a real fire in the station, and Roscoe and Buster must rush back to save Molly, who is trapped inside. The rescue involves slapstick antics with a leaky hose and a life net that bounces Molly into the telephone wires. This was the final film the comedy duo made together.
