"The Sacred" (2009) - A group of university students travels to a remote and sacred Native American patch of land in the Florida swamps to complete a thesis on Native American Folklore. This distant swamp area was used hundreds of years ago to judge and punish murderous criminals. The land itself has magical powers, making it possible for the dead to come back and punish the guilty. As the students quickly find out, past actions can lead to present nightmares, and their own sins come back to haunt and literally kill them.
