Plot: Jenny Hager is a beautiful but manipulative woman living in a 19th-century lumber town in Maine. She uses her charm and beauty to get what she wants, seducing and destroying the men who fall for her. She marries a wealthy older man for his money, then seduces his son. When she meets a kind man, she thinks she can change her ways, but her past comes back to haunt her.
