The Woods Are Real (2024)
Plot: Joba and Quincy are a wealthy, progressive Brooklyn couple who take pride in their activism and modern lifestyle. When their friend Caleb returns from a mysterious pilgrimage in the woods claiming to have found spiritual enlightenment, he invites them to an off-grid cabin to experience it for themselves. Once there, the couple finds the cabin filled with strange analog technology and religious icons. Their retreat turns into a nightmare when they discover their bank accounts have been drained and their digital identities erased. Trapped in the forest, they are forced into a brutal "spiritual test" of survival that challenges their morals and their very lives.
