Plot: Paul Miller (Paul Rudd), a cynical and professionally unfulfilled actor in Hollywood, decides to commit suicide in two days. In a darkly comic and ironic twist, he hires a small film crew, headed by the would-be director Stu (Adam Scott), to document the last 48 hours of his life. As the camera rolls, Paul begins his farewell tour, trying to find meaning as he debates the worth of his existence and says his goodbyes to his friends, former girlfriends, and family. Most people around him are initially skeptical, believing he is either joking or making a dramatic plea for attention, while those closest to him frantically try to convince him to forfeit his plan.
