George Jesse was born in Klagenfurt, Austria. His first Short, Toms Welt (1999),
was shot in 3 days, at -15 degrees and with heavy snowfall. The whole
budget was about $100 for some tea and burgers. George has founded the
Styrian-Summer-Shortfilm-Academie and serves as president of the
Film@STYRIA production company.
