Eric began his career at 18 months in a computer commercial. Between the ages of two and five, he was a regular on the TV series Wunderbare Jahre (1988). Eric made his feature film debut in 4 himmlische Freunde (1993), playing Robert Downey Jr.'s character as a child. He went on to be a ubiquitous presence in television commercials, but his career really took off when Woody Allen cast him as the main character's son in Harry außer sich (1997)
