A former business executive and literary agent who was educated at
Oxford University in England, Gerald Drayson Adams began writing for
the screen in the mid-1940s. He wrote mostly second features,
specializing in action/adventure and western films, and ended his
career with an Elvis Presley musical, Verschollen im Harem (1965).
