Tiny (5'1") but buxom, svelte and sensuous brunette stripper and exotic
burlesque dancer Toni Maria Alessandrini was born on June 2, 1950, in
Chicago, IL. Toni was inspired to become a stripper after seeing
Natalie Wood portray legendary
stripper Gypsy Rose Lee in
Gypsy - Königin der Nacht (1962).
She took jazz, ballet and modern dance lessons prior to moving to
Hollywood at age 19. She worked as a go-go dancer and soon began
participating in numerous burlesque contests and beauty pageants. She
won the title of Miss Bare-Bottom Tucson (AZ) at age 21 in 1971; she
subsequently won the titles Miss World Burlesque in 1980 and Miss
Exotic World in 1991 (at 41 years of age!). She has danced in a Playboy
revue show and performed alongside both
Sid Caesar and
Imogene Coca in the show "With a Touch of
Burlesque." Alessandrini achieved her greatest enduring cinematic
popularity as luscious stripper Desiree in the uproariously raucous,
raunchy comedy
Bachelor Party (1984) with
Tom Hanks. Toni also played strippers in
Hot Cops (1990)
and
Straps-Akademie 1 - Heiße Mädels, wilde Bullen (1991).
She has been married five times. More recently, she has appeared in
such hardcore porno productions as "Angels in Motion," "Bottoms Up,"
"Fetish," "Oral Vixens," and "La Grande Derriere."
