Nahshon Dion Anderson is a creative nonfiction writer. After meeting rapper Tupac at John Muir High School's prom in 1996, Nahshon started as an intern at Look Hear Productions with Tracy Danielle Robinson and Gobi M. Rahimi. Nahshon then briefly attended California State University, Los Angeles.

At age 19, in 1997, upon reading Black Talent News, Nahshon learned Keenan Ivory Wayans had a new project in development and sent in their resume to Shauna Garr at Buena Vista Pictures. Months later, Nahshon was called for work in June and given office duties, including answering Mr. Wayans' phone. Nahshon was being secretly videotaped for a show segment; the producers then offered him a job as a P.A. on the" Keenan Ivory Wayans" late-night talk show produced by Buena Vista Pictures.
