Before her start in film, Rachel began as a playwright. After
successfully writing and directing a play in her local high school, she
went on to communications school at Syracuse University. After just
three years of study, she earned a degree in TV/Radio/Film Production.
She has worked on a few minor projects, including Peter Sullivan's
short The Good Man's Sin.
