Peter Basch is a native New Yorker who attended the Lycée Français de New-York,and graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Physics. After dropping out of UC Berkeley's MS program in Astrophysics, he came back to NY to act. He performed at the Manhattan Punch Line and the Ensemble Studio Theatre. He appeared in plays by David Ives, Laurence Klavan, Howard Korder, Brian Goluboff, Roger Hedden and more. Peter's one-act play, English (It's Where the Words Are) was performed at the Ensemble Studio Theatre Marathon of One-Acts in 1995, the HBO New Writer's Project, Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival, and the Aspen Comedy Festival. Peter has done improv with UCB and appeared in How Do You Get to Carnegie Hall? with Nick Ullett, directed by Jenny O'Hara, at EST LA's One Acts 2017. Most recently, Peter was in the short film The Art Thieves by Nosayaba Annmarie and directed by Gracie Giffune.
