Main focus is on humans beings, particularly persons who find
themselves "jammed in" - by chance or their own doing - between
cultures, struggles, powers or other personalities who dominate their
lives. What circumstances do to people or how they find a way out of
them - or get conquered by them. Baudissin:"... this never means
exploiting other people's plight, but trying to convey what they are
going through."
