Born in Bruxelles, as Marica Pop, of a Romanian father and a Spanish
mother. Working in 1965 as a translator in Bucharest, Romania, meet and
marry Romanian actor Radu Beligan. Both parents were killed in a car
crush in 1966. Mother of actress Lamia Beligan. Died of cancer in
Bucharest in 1993.
