Eric Boles was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Boles started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the Dick Van Dyke comedy Der 25 Millionen Dollar Preis (1971), the John Considine horror flick Doctor Death: Seeker of Souls (1973) and So wie wir waren (1973). Boles worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on Ark II (1976). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like The Great Texas Dynamite Chase (1976) and the drama Hadleys letzter Kampf (1983) with Griffin O'Neal. He also starred in the TV movies Charleston (1979) and Die Macht der Gewalt (1981). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Live Shot" (UPN, 1995-96). He also was featured in the TV movies Blutige Vergeltung (1994) and Deadphone (1994). Boles most recently appeared in Arrested Development (2003).
