Actress and writer of children's books. Began as an actress in 1937,
and had some engagements in Oslo and Bergen, only two minor film-parts.
For Norwegian children she is best known for her books about "Tørris" ,
among others, and she was a popular guest in children's hour in Radio
for many years, telling from her books.
She was the sister of the late actress Randi Brænne, (1911-2004) and
aunt of actor/writer Trond Brænne.
