Boris Rene Buhot was born in Toronto, Ontario. After being scouted by a
prominent Casting director he was encouraged to enroll at the Weist
Barron School of Television, Canada. Boris promptly started his acting
career in the mid 80's with a string of commercials and community theatre.
Boris decided at an early stage to work on ethical projects, and worked
with many of the finest directors in the industry, including John G. Avildsen
(Rocky) and Jeremy Podeswa (Game of Thrones).
In 2005, Boris launched into a music career, and in 2011 started
performing his debut album 1041 through the pseudonym "United Truce". A
searing work which makes no excuses about the state of the nation and
his love of the environment. His follow up album in 2020, Really Small Town
was issued through his current project "One Eyed Oracle," and garnered
rave reviews from musicologist Alan Cross and America and Poco manager,
John Hartman.
On June 20th, 2025 his first book "Waking As Water : The Birth Of
Consciousness" was published through Canned Light Records Ltd.
