One of the most recognizable mob-boss faces in the movies, even though he only appeared on a handful of films, Pasquale Cajano was born in Italy in 1921. A friend of the Scorsese family, he made his screen debut on a bit part in Zeit der Unschuld (1993), followed by the memorable mob boss Remo Gaggi in Casino (1995).
Cajano also appeared on Showgirl Killers (1995), Big Night - Nacht der Genüsse (1996), the acclaimed Sleepers (1996), The Impostors - Zwei Hochstapler in Not (1998) and again as mob boss Joe Baldassare in the comedy Reine Nervensache (1999).
Pasquale wasn't actor by tradition, in fact he worked as a broadcaster on Italian-language radio in New York City.
He died of prostate cancer in 2000.
