Bold, with a hint of sophistication, Kelly Crean has become a much
sought after commodity in the entertainment industry due to the natural
element she brings into all of her work in film and television. Kelly
was born in Laguna Beach on the 9th day, 9th month at 9:00 into a
prominent, highly philanthropic family. She often performed in a string
of children's and high school performances while growing up, all the
while watching her grandfather simultaneously produce films and attend
charity events with many of Hollywood's greats.
At 16 years old, Kelly was formally introduced to the Film and
Television industry by Stan Freeberg, who cast her in an Encyclopedia
Britannica commercial. This immediately caused Kelly to become enamored
with the craft and the entertainment industry. To "seal the deal," her
grandfather started a renowned cooking show, At Home On The Range, in
which Kelly devotedly watched almost every episode being filmed.
Knowing it was essential to further her career as an actress, Kelly
enrolled in Chapman University to study all elements of film and
television, including directing, producing, editing, and acting. She
directed, wrote, participated, and starred in several productions while
in attendance.
To earn money while working on her degree, she landed a role on the
daytime soap Port Charles. This led to Kelly working on Days of Our
Lives and subsequently a list of notable films and television shows. A
perfectionist in her craft, Kelly is known by many she's worked with as
being one of the most natural, cute (as well as quirky!) actresses in
the industry.
And let's not forget that amazing smile of hers to boot!
