His chief musical collaborators include George Kleinsinger, Ezra Laderman, Guy Wood, John Benson Brooks, Herman Krasnow, and Mitchell Leigh. His popular-song compositions also include "A Woman Wouldn't Be a Woman", "Toujours Gai", "Christmas Is a Feeling In Your Heart", "The Growing-Up Tree", "The Ho Ho Song", "The Midnight Train", "The Lollipop Tree", "The Goonie Bird Song" and "Little Red Train to the Zoo".
