Tom de Groot was born in 1969 in the heart of Amsterdam, The
Netherlands. In 1999 he graduated from the Dutch Film and Television
Academy in Amsterdam as a sound engineer. Since then he has been active
as a sound recordist, sound assistant and sound effects editor for
various films and television programs.
