Lorenzo De Luca born near Rome, to parents not involved in the
movie-business. While attending secondary school, he started to write
articles about movies, debuting as a writer in 1987 with a book about
Italian westerns, followed by another one about war-movies and a series
of four books about Bruce Lee and Kung-Fu pics. His debut as
screenwriter arrived in 1991 with TV serial Zwei Supertypen in Miami - Der Kindermörder (1991), starred by
European star Bud Spencer. He followed with more scripts for both
little and big screen until his breakthrough thanks to the Italian
Christmas blockbuster _Merry Christmas (2002)_ in 2002.
