Justin R. Durban was born on December 7, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in the quiet town of Madisonville, Kentucky. With a lifelong passion for the arts and an early obsession with anything related to movies, he pursued a degree in Graphic Design and Art Studio, with a minor in Theatre, at the University of Kentucky. In 2005, Justin moved to Los Angeles to chase his creative ambitions in music and film production. After the birth of his first child, he and his wife relocated to Austin, Texas, in search of a slower rhythm and more space to grow. Justin continues to create films across the US, with a particular love for post-production where sound, image, and emotion come together. He is building his eleven-film cinematic universe, "Durbania" a decades-long dream fueled by imagination, heart, and the relentless pursuit of story.
