Lyricist, author and songwriter ("At Dawning", "From the Land of the
Sky-Blue Water") and teacher, who taught school in Nebraska. She joined
ASCAP in 1927, and her chief musical collaborator was Charles Wakefield
Cadman. Her other popular-song compositions include "From Wigwam to
Tepee" and "I Hear a Thrush at Eve".
