Michael Robert Edmund was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada in 1983
and raised in the neighboring city of Mississauga. Developing a love
for filmmaking in high school, Michael attended York University with a
double major in English and Communication Studies intending to develop
his personal writing abilities and study film theory.
Following University, Michael worked freelance in film and television
for a number of years and quickly developed a passion for the Art
Department. In an effort to hone his abilities, Michael returned to
school in 2009 to attend the Advanced Television and Film Program at
Sheridan College where he mastered in production design and
screenwriting.
In addition to winning best picture for the final film production he
had written, Michael was awarded a scholarship from Panavision for
academic excellence. Michael has since worked on a number of small and
major films in varying artistic capacities, building a steady
reputation for quality work.
