Mark Ellinger founded the recording studio Truth and Beauty in the
Mission District of San Francisco. He wrote the music for many San
Francisco underground films, and has become a noted photographer and
documenter of the Tenderloin area of San Francisco with his website and
blog Up From the Deep.
