Achim Freyer was born on March 30, 1934 in Berlin, Germany. He is a production designer and costume designer, known for Metamorphosen (1992), Unsuk Chin: Alice in Wonderland (2007) and Ein Baum erzählt (1966). He has been married to Esther Lee-Freyer since 2012. He was previously married to Ilona Freyer.
