After serving in the Air Force, he worked in the high-tech industry in Silicon Valley for several years. Between 1996 and 2005 he worked in the television and film industry, doing both principal and background work. He has also been a stand-in and/or photo-double in several films as well for actors such as Robin Williams. Jake has also appeared in commercials and magazine advertisements for companies such as Ford, Bank of America, Lexus, Washington Mutual, Charles Schwab, Allstate and Zocor. Jake worked in Kuwait and Iraq for four years, then from 2011 to 2023 as a Special Investigator retained by the United States Government. Under the name Jakob Gentry you can find a novel, Remember Me when September Comes, and a screenplay based upon the novel. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Jake retired in 2023 and now lives in Oakdale, California.
