Born in Lule, Sweden into artistic family. Parents Annette (n Bogeland)
and Henning Gjoerup. Mother remarried 1970 to famous swedish actor
Håkan Serner. Grew up in Stockholm. Went to music-school. Entered the
Malmö andCollege of Music in 1986. Graduated in 1992 with a
post-graduate diploma in andsinging. Worked with various ensembl es and
orchestras in Sweden.
