Eli Golub was born in Massachusetts. He attended
college at Norwich University in Vermont. After graduating with a BA in
English, he was employed as a private charter sailor and carpenter in the Caribbean.
In 1994 he moved to Venice, California and entered the film business. He has worked as a film
professional since then. He was an IATSE #600 Camera operator and a Local #80 grip.
He has two sons and a daughter, all with ex-wife Justine Power. In April
2006, he moved to Melbourne, Australia with his family. Divorced in February 2020.
